Shona
Carnegie is one of the rising stars of Scottish contemporary
jewellery. She studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College
of Art in Dundee and since
1996 has been exhibiting throughout the UK and overseas.
She now lives and works in the French Alps.
Her
travels to India, Mexico and Peru and the imagery
collected in her travel diaries, along with a fascination
for tactile objects and the spirit of movement, are
amongst the influences that inspire her work.
As
well as jewellery, she makes small scale silverware
such as spoons and boxes. She uses silver and gold,
often with etched and enamelled details.
Her
most recent work includes a range of 18ct yellow and
white gold rings with diamonds. These are a popular
choice as wedding and engagement rings. Please ask
us for more details.
