Richard’s
work is about Nature - he strives to understand nature’s
forms and layers, moods, and light.
Sometimes,
Richard’s work simply celebrates the raw energy
of Nature. His “Slate” prints on hand-made
paper, float elegantly in their frames, beautifully
expressing the landscape they came from. The 'Carmine'
series shows Richard at his most minimal - enjoying
pure colour and simple texture, and allowing these
to create the space that hopefully the viewer will
discover.
