Gallery welcomes applications from artists wishing to exhibit
their work, however, we would request that the following
procedure is followed.
Application Procedure
Please
come into the gallery and have a look around before applying,
or if you don't live locally, then have a look through the
'Gallery' pages on this website. This will give you a feel
for the type of work we show at the gallery and whether
your work is suitable. However, please don't turn
up at the gallery with a request to exhibit without an appointment.
We
prefer applications to be made in writing via email or letter.
Please send:
• A covering letter or email - A short introduction
and relevant details such as address and telephone number.
• Supporting visual material - You can send photographs
or digital images on CD Rom or by email. Please include
titles, dimensions, year of creation and medium. If you
would like your photos or CD returned, then include a stamped
addressed envelope.
• A copy of your CV - Your CV should include details
of your art education, training, past, current and forthcoming
exhibitions, retail outlets, grants etc. Technical information
and an artist statement is also very helpful.
• Price information - Please give us an idea of your
prices.

NOTE THAT ALL ELECTRONIC APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUITABLE FOR
VIEWING ON A MAC.
It may take several months for you to get a response. We
receive a considerable number of applications from individuals
wanting to show their work here, and inevitably there is
only a small proportion of these that we can practicably
pursue. The decisions we make are taken not only on the
merits of an individual proposal itself but on the way in
which it might work with our exhibition programme as a whole.
Please
also note that we do not respond to blanket applications
or emails that provide little other than a link to an artist's
website.
